68% Jump in Complaints Against Banks

Published On: March 12, 2024 - The complaints about banking, under RBI’s ombudsman scheme, go up 69% year-on-year. The count of complaints rises to 7,03,544 in 2022-23. As per the central bank, the rise in complaints is due to growing public awareness and a simplified complaint lodging process.
