When the Pakistan army began its crackdown in erstwhile East Pakistan, they committed genocide on the minorities. This has continued to a point when from double digits the population of the minorities is now in single digits. The Sheikh Hasina government was secular, it cracked down on religious fundamentalists. There has been a surge in attacks on minorities after the fall of her government. Why is Bangladesh unsafe for religious minorities?
