Blinkit Strike Raises Gig Economy Questions

Blinkit’s new payout structure has caused resentment among its delivery partners and points to a broader disconnect between quick commerce companies and its foot soldiers. The delivery fee has been slashed from ₹25 per order to ₹15, resulting in a 40% cut in salaries for delivery boys that form a bulk of the gig economy in India.
