Cafe Coffee Day Faces Bankruptcy

Published On: July 25, 2023 - The NCLT Bengaluru bench accepts the plea for Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against Coffee Day Global Ltd (CDGL). The plea, filed by a financial creditor, cites dues amounting to over ?94 Cr. During FY23, CDGL reported a total income of ?920 Cr and incurred losses of approximately ?68 Cr. Additionally, as of March 2020, CDGL had outstanding loans from 13 lenders, totaling ?1,644 Cr.
