Campaigning Begins for UK Polls

Published On: May 24, 2024 - British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Scotland on the first full day of election campaign on Thursday. On May 23rd, the UK PM announced that polls which were constitutionally scheduled to be held in 2025, will now be held on July 4. While Sunak had hinted that elections may take place latter in 2024 all along, this sudden decision was not well received by most of the Conservatives.
