Centre Unveils Foreign Trade Policy 2023, AIMS $2 Tn Exports by 2030

Published On: March 31, 2023 - The centre has launched Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023 which seeks to boost the country's exports to $2 trillion by 2030 by shifting from incentives to remission and entitlement-based regime. FTP 2023, which comes into effect on April 1, also seeks the internationalization of the rupee and will facilitate global trade payments in the domestic currency. Economists Ashwini Mahajan and Karan Mehrishi join us to discuss the new policy and how India can achieve the $2 Tn export target.
