Chennai-based Agnikul Cosmos Launches India’s First Rocket From Private Launch Pad

Published On: May 30, 2024 - Chennai-based space startup, Agnikul Cosmos, successfully launched a rocket – a mission that lasted just over 2 minutes from its launch to splashdown. This was the company's first successful rocket launch after four failed attempts. The rocket was called Agnibaan SOrTeD or Agniban Suborbital Technological Demonstrator and it marked many firsts for India’s space technology sector.
