Congress VS ECI Over Assam Delimitation

Published On: July 03, 2023 - The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to pursue a legal challenge against the Election Commission of India's draft proposal on constituency delimitation in the state. The decision came in a meeting onTuesday. Furthermore, it was also decided that the Congress would take the lead in forming a delegation comprising like-minded parties. The delegation will approach the ECI once again to express their concerns regarding the process of redrawing assembly and parliamentary constituencies in the state.
