Data Breach At Taj Hotels? Personal Data Of 1.5 Million Guests Likely Compromised

Published On: November 24, 2023 - In a recent case of data breach, personal information of 1.5 million guests of Taj Group is likely exposed. The data includes mobile numbers, date of birth, membership ids, etc. Reportedly, the data is sold on a darknet marketplace called BreachForums, for $5,000 per set. Tata-owned hotel group said it is investigating the matter. Earlier, on Oct 9, aadhaar and passport related data of 815 million Indians was up for sale on the same dark web forum.
