'Delhi Chalo' to Resume on Feb 21

Published On: February 20, 2024 - After rejecting the latest government's proposal of a five-year contract for the procurement of maize, cotton and pulses on Monday, farmer leaders from Punjab, who have been protesting since February 13, announced that they will resume their march to the national Capital on February 21. Moreover, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued emergency blocking orders against 177 social media accounts related to farmers’ protests to maintain public order, following MHA's request.
