ED Charge Sheets Amway India, Accuses Firm Of Cheating Rs 4,050 Cr

Published On: November 21, 2023 - The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against the direct marketing firm Amway India. The agency claimed that the company generated Rs 4,050 crore by cheating its subscribers. It also said that Amway siphoned off ₹2,859 crores overseas. Amway started the craze of multi-level marketing in India by enrolling innumerable people under its schemes. The company offered people lucrative commissions on its products while they kept adding members below them in the pyramid.
