Extreme heat likely in April-June

Published On: April 02, 2024 - The India Meteorological Department has forecasted above-normal temperatures and longer heat waves for the upcoming summer season, spanning from April to June. According to their seasonal outlook, most parts of the country can expect higher than usual maximum temperatures during this period, with the exception of certain regions in the east and northeast, as well as pockets of northwest India.
