Fourth Round of Talks Called on Feb 18

Published On: February 16, 2024 - The third meeting between Union ministers and farmer leaders at Chandigarh ended without any agreement. Another round of talks has been scheduled on Feb 18.Despite Union Minister Arjun Munda describing the discussions as 'positive,' no agreement was reached. The meeting lasted for around five hours and included Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Arjun Munda, and minister of state for home affairs, Nityanand Rai, as representatives of the central government.
