Published On: October 05, 2023 - In a major relief for the airline industry, the centre has amended the insolvency rules. As per the new rules certain provisions of the code will no longer apply to aircraft, their engines, airframes, and helicopters and will make it easier for lessors to repossess the aircraft after the airline declares bankruptcy.
