Google Joins AI Race, Launches ChatGPT Rival Gemini

Published On: December 07, 2023 - Tech giant Google launches a large language model, named Gemini, which will compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Meta’s Llama 2. The rollout of Gemini will take place in phases. For now, “Nano” & “Pro” are being incorporated with Google's chatbot, Bard. These versions will also power the Pixel 8 Pro smartphone.
