The maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 49.9°C at the Mungeshpur observatory, highest in past 100 years on Tuesday. The highest temperature ever recorded in Delhi over the last 100 years was 49.2 degrees Celsius on May 15-16 in 2022.The gaming zone in Gujrat's Rajkot, in which at least 28 people, including children died after a massive fire broke out. Investigation revealed that the gaming had just one exit point and it also lacked no-objection certificate for fire clearance
