Hindenburg Research Vs SEBI Chair Madhabi Puri Buch - Opposition Demands Prob

Published On: August 12, 2024 - US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research has published another report, this time making serious allegations against Sebi chair Madhabi Puri Buch. The report indicates that Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband Dhaval Buch were invested in obscure, offshore funds that were used by Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani in manipulating Adani stock prices. Buch, Sebi, Adani Group, and the offshore fund have all denied the allegations. Buch calls it malicious, mischievous, and manipulative’ aimed at character assassination.
