India Tops Global Cyber Attack Targets at 13%

Published On: November 06, 2023 - With India facing 13.7% of all cyber attacks globally, it is the most targeted country, as per a report by the cybersecurity firm, Cyfirma. The state-sponsored cyber attacks on India are up by 278% in three years. Two companies, Information Technology (I.T.), and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), witness the highest share of such attacks. While targeted cyber attacks on government agencies went up by 460%, on startups and Small Medium Enterprises, the cyber attacks went up by 508%. The report is titled, 'Threat Landscape Report.'
