Indian Armed Forces Sealed Deals Worth Rs.23,500 Crores Amid LAC Row

Published On: October 09, 2023 - In response to the prolonged military standoff with China in eastern Ladakh, ongoing for four years, the armed forces swiftly secured contracts valued at approximately Rs 23,500 crores through emergency capital procurements over the last twelve months. Emergency procurements (EPs) include a diverse range of weaponry, including missiles, precision-guided munitions, drones, counter-drone systems, communication satellites, surveillance gear, radars, protective equipment, and advanced reconnaissance vehicles.
