Indian Companies Can List on Foreign Exchanges: New MCA Notification

Published On: November 06, 2023 - In a recent notification issued on October 31 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), unlisted Indian companies can list on foreign exchanges. The amendment, which was initiated in 2020, has been effective from October 30, 2023. However, the government is yet to provide a list of jurisdictions where the concerned Indian companies can list. Before this amendment, only listed Indian companies could seek secondary listing.
