IndiGo Strands 6 Passengers Despite Promise of Alternative Flight at Bengaluru Airport

Published On: November 21, 2023 - IndiGo deboarded six passengers at the Bengaluru airport on the pretext of flying them via another flight. Ultimately, the airline left the passengers stranded at the airport. Out of six passengers, two were elderly. The passengers were destined to go to Chennai from Amritsar via Bengaluru. However, after the passengers were deboarded, they realised that there was no other flight to Chennai that night, hence they were flown the next day after staying overnight in the city. The airline was allegedly unwilling to fly with just six passengers on board.
