IT Dept Cracks Down On Tax Evaders

Published On: July 25, 2023 - As 31 July, the last date to file income tax returns nears, 7.40 crore entities have filed income tax returns so far in FY23, an increase of 6.18 percent from FY22. But the IT department is not resting it out, it has sent 100,000 IT notices for non-filing of returns, under-reporting, and misreporting income.
