Jio Surges with 3.1M Subscribers, Vodafone Idea Shrinks by 2M in Oct '23

Published On: January 05, 2024 - Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, witnessed an addition of more than 3.1 million subscribers in October 2023, as per data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel, gained 3,52,640 subscribers during the same period. Vodafone Idea, a troubled telecom company, witnessed a further decline in its wireless subscriber base, losing 2 million subscribers.
