Made-In-India Dell, HP Computers Soon, 27 Cos Get PLI Approval

Published On: November 20, 2023 - Under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme 2.0, the government has given approval to 27 India-based and global companies. As per the I.T. minister, the government received a total of 40 applications. A few companies in the approved list are Dell, Foxconn, HP, Lenovo, Padget Electronics, SOJO, VVDN, Goodworth Electronics, etc. The Cabinet approved a renewed PLI scheme amounting to Rs 17,000 crore for a six-year tenure. The development is projected to inject Rs 3,000 crore.
