Make In India: Apple To Manufacture 50 Million iPhones A Year

Published On: December 12, 2023 - Apple aims to manufacture 50 million iPhones in India annually. The company looks to achieve the target in the next 2-3 years. After touching the 50 million, India will account for one-fourth of the global iPhone production. Moving towards that direction, Tata Group plans to establish a manufacturing plant in India which shall consist of 20 assembly lines with 50,000 workers.
