By announcing Bharat Ratna to LK Advani and Karpoori Thakur in the same week after Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government has not only fulfilled it's poll promise, but also hijacked Opposition's Caste Census agenda. Clearly, after being in power at the Centre for ten years, the party goes to 2024 general elections with a Mandal plus Mandir agenda.
