MCA Orders Probe Into Hero MotoCorp In Fund Diversion Case

Published On: June 16, 2023 - The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has directed an investigation into Hero MotoCorp Limited for alleged corporate governance concerns. The MCA has launched this inquiry under the banner of 'public interest' to ascertain the actual ownership of specific associated companies. In addition to Hero MotoCorp, the MCA will also scrutinize the operations of Salt Experiences and Management Private Limited (SEMPL), suspected to be a 'linked entity' of Hero MotoCorp, as per the sources.
