MHA Team to Hold Talks With Kuki, Meitei Groups in Manipur

Published On: January 23, 2024 - Following recent surge in ethnic violence resulting in seven casualties in Manipur, a delegation of mediators dispatched by the Central government has arrived in the northeastern state. Led by former Intelligence Bureau special director A K Mishra, the team, assembled by the Ministry of Home Affairs /or fostering peace, aims to engage in discussions with representatives from both the Meitei and Kuki communities.
