Mother of Late Capt. Anshuman Singh, says Scrap Agniveer after Meeting Rahul Gandhi

This marked his first visit to Rae Bareli since assuming his new role. During the visit, he met with Ravi Pratap Singh and Manju Singh, the parents of Shaheed Captain Anshuman Singh. Recently, Captain Anshuman Singh of the 26th Battalion of the Punjab Regiment's Army Medical Corps was posthumously awarded the Kirti Chakra by President Droupadi Murmu. After meeting Rahul Gandhi, Captain Anshuman's mother, Manju, expressed her view that the Agniveer scheme should be discontinued. Rahul Gandhi assured her that they would continue their fight against it.
