Neha Hiremath Murder Case Transferred to CID

Published On: April 22, 2024 – Politics over the murder of 23-year-old student Neha Hiremath by her former batchmate Fayaz continues. The BJP which has termed the murder an incident of ‘Love Jihad’ held a statewide protest against the Congress government and demanded strict punishment for the accused. The Siddaramaiah govenrment has denied allegations of ‘Love Jihad’ and handed the investigation to the CID.
