Officials Anticipate Workers' Rescue By Day's End

Published On: November 24, 2023 - The tunnel rescue operation in Uttarkashi to bring out 41 workers is in the last phase. The operation got stalled on Thursday night when the drilling machine stopped. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stayed on-site all night to oversee things. The drilling is now set to resume. As many as 41 ambulances have been kept on standby at the Silkyara tunnel site to move the workers to the hospital as soon as they come out.
