Panasonic EV Battery Soon?

Published On: July 17, 2023 - Panasonic is planning to establish a battery manufacturing plant in India, taking advantage of the government's production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for ACC battery storage. This decision comes after a recent meeting between a high-level delegation from the Japanese company and senior members of the Indian government. It is expected that Panasonic's potential plant would serve as a supplier of batteries to prominent Indian companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, and the Volkswagen group, according to reports.
