PM Modi arrives in Italy for G7

Upon his arrival at Brindisi Airport, PM Modi was welcomed by the Indian Ambassador to Italy Vani Rao and other officials. This marks PM Modi's first foreign visit after assuming office for the third consecutive term. Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, confirmed Modi's arrival in a post on X. It is important to note that G7 countries account for 40% of the world's GDP and have a significant influence on the World Bank and IMF. The G7 also plays a major role in economic policies and aid programs. Amid tense relations with Russia and China, the G7's influence has increased as the UNSC faces challenges in decision-making.
