Priyanka Gandhi Charged BJP with Wanting to Change the Constitution

Published On: April 17, 2024 - Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi campaigning in Rajasthan, charged the BJP of wanting to amend the Constitution. She said that the media must question Prime Minister Narendra Modi why his party leaders keep saying that they will change the constitution. However, it is important to note that the Indian constitution has been amended 106 times since 1950. The first amendment was made in 1951, before the first Lok Sabha election in the country.
