Recovering Lost Bank Deposits

Published On: August 18, 2023 - Rs 35,000 crore of unclaimed deposits have been unearthed this year so far and now RBI has launched UDGAM-Uncalimed Deposits Gateway to Access Information, a web portal to help people track down their Bank deposits that remain unclaimed. The portal is for the unclaimed deposits which are transferred to the DEA (Depositor Education and Awareness) Fund maintained by the RBI.
