Reliance's MultiBillion-Dollar Disney+ Hotstar Acquisition Nears Completion

Published On: October 25, 2023 - Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance may soon enter a multi-billion dollar deal with Walt Disney's India subsidiary, Disney Star. According to reports, Walt Disney may keep a minority stake in the company while selling off the controlling stake to Reliance. The deal, if it comes through, will strengthen Reliance's foothold in the entertainment industry. In 2022, Reliance got the right to premier the Indian Premier League.
