Rescue Team Inches Closer to Trapped Workers, Just 10 to 12 Meters Away

Published On: November 23, 2023 - It's a race to rescue the 41 workers trapped inside the partially collapsed tunnel in Uttarkashi. And there's light at the end of the tunnel. The rescue workers are barely 10 to 12 metres away from reaching the trapped workers. Nearly 45 metres of the escape pipe had been inserted into the debris till this morning and the operation to free the workers is in the final stretch. In all, 57 metres of the rubble have to be breached to reach the workers.
