Sam Altman Back At OpenAI As CEO

The board had earlier ousted Altman saying it “no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI.” Later, CTO Mira Murati was appointed the company’s interim CEO. The next day, former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear was appointed to the position of company’s interim CEO. Satya Nadella had also announced Altman and Greg Brockman’s joining at Microsoft. However, in an open letter, over 500 OpenAI employees had given an ultimatum to the board to resign.
