SBI's Chocolate Greetings Strategy for Loan Repayments

Published On: September 18, 2023 - State Bank Of India has come up with an innovative strategy to ensure timely repayments, by greeting those at risk of defaulting on monthly instalments with home visits along with a pack of chocolates amid increasing delinquency levels among retail borrowers. According to the bank, borrowers who are planning to default are less likely to answer a reminder call, making unannounced home visits the only way.
