SC on NEET Row: If Sanctity of Exam Lost, then Re-test has to be Ordered

Published On: July 09, 2024 - The Supreme Court while hearing a bunch of petition in the NEET-UG paper leak case said that if the sanctity of the exam was lost then the exam has to be cancelled and a re-test has to be ordered. The 3-judge bench noted that there was no question that the leak had taken place and only thing left to be known was how widespread was the leak. The apex court, however, added that was a Re-test was the extreme last resort.
