Telangana: Junior Doctors prolong Strike

Published On: June 25, 2024 - Junior doctors across Telangana have prolonged there strike after they said that the assurances given by the Health Minister Rajanarasimha were ‘not satisfactory’. Representatives of the T-JUDA said that they were not given any clear timelines about their demands being met. The junior doctors have a slew of demands, including creation of a green channel to regular payment of stipends, an honorarium for super-specialty senior residents, more security for doctors, better hostel facilities, among others.
