The Maratha agitation continues to boil over in Maharastra

Published On: November 01, 2023 - Nationalist Congress Party legislator, and Maharashtra cabinet minister Hasan Mushrif's SUV was vandalised in Mumbai by Maratha Quota agitators.Three people have been detained in connection with the incident. Mushrif is a member of the NCP faction led by deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar. In response to the recent outbreaks of violence across the state related to the demand for Maratha reservation, the Mumbai police have heightened security measures for cabinet ministers, other political figures, political party offices, and significant locations in the city.
