Nearly 50% of the world population will cast their vote in more than 60 countries in 2024. The dance of democracy will engulf the political world and one strong theme that is emerging is the rise of authoritarian leaders. The vacuum created by appeasement politics, lax immigration laws and resurgence of national identity will likely be occupied by the right wing.
