UPI Services Rolls Out in Sri Lanka, Mauritius

Published On: February 12, 2024 - India's Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services expanded to Sri Lanka and Mauritius on February 12. The virtual ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the top leadership of both the island nations. Moreover, RuPay cards were also introduced in Mauritius today. The move would enable the availability of UPI settlement services for Indian nationals travelling to Sri Lanka and Mauritius as well as for Mauritian nationals travelling to India.
