Use UPI For A Month: PM Modi Urges Citizens To Cashless

Published On: November 27, 2023 - In a move to inch one step closer towards the Digital India dream, PM Modi urges citizens to make digital transactions for a month. While speaking in the 107th edition of ‘Mann ki Baat,’ the Prime Minister said that India registered more than 11 billion UPI transactions in Oct. The total transactions amounted to Rs 17.16 lakh crore. He also added that during the festive season, business worth over Rs 4 lakh crore was conducted.
