Victory for Tata Motors: WB Govt Ordered to Pay Rs 766 Cr

The decision comes as a three-member arbitration panel rules in favour of Tata Motors in the Singur-Nano Project case. In 2008, a Singur-based Tata Nano factory was shut down, and the company subsequently was forced out of West Bengal state due to farmers' protests in relation to land costs.
