An IIT Kanpur professor and his team of international astronomers have discovered a new planet orbiting a star 12 lights years away from our solar system. Naming it super-Jupiter, after our very own Jupiter, scientists say it is the first directly imaged matured exoplanet and could perhaps also be the coldest of them all.
