On Wednesday, 3rd July 2024, India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar raised concerns about their safety and pressed for their return. Dr Jaishanker met Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Astana, Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
