According to reports, Mojtaba Khamenei has been discreetly anointed as the next supreme leader of Iran as his father, Ali Khamenei, the current supreme leader of Iran, is fighting severe illness. Members of Iran's Assembly of Experts were summoned for a surprise meeting in which Mojtaba Khamenei was reportedly chosen as the successor.
