Wholesale Inflation At Five Month High In August At -0.52% Vs -1.36% In July

Published On: September 14, 2023 - The wholesale price inflation rose to -0.52% in August as compared to -1.36% in July. WPI inflation remained in the negative for the fifth straight month in August and can be attributed to fall in prices for items like mineral oils, basic metals, chemical products, textiles, and food products, compared to the same month in the previous year.
